Pelvic pain is pain in the muscles, joints, and tissue of the pelvis. Many cases of pelvic pain are left unreported and the individual suffers for years in silence. Although most common in women, men are susceptible to it as well. It can be caused by diseases of the bowel or urinary tract, scar tissue from infection or surgery, or issues within the reproductive system.

What Kind Of Symptoms May I Feel?

Pain ranging from dull to sharp and from mild to intense.

Pain during sex.

Pain during urination or bowel movements.

In women, intense cramping during monthy periods.
